A theologist possessing the angelic look is no less than our beloved
Sr. Ignatius Loyola. As the foundress of this institution, she has a
unique place in the annals of St. Ann's High School. When the school
was in an embryonic stage with 220 students and 6 teachers having
classes from K G to V, she left no stone unturned for laying the
strongest foundations. Even at that stage, the school showed
glimpses of becoming a mighty school in the twin cities. Her soft
spokenness coupled with simplicity won the appreciation of the
parents and the well wishers. As all pioneers have to bear the brunt
of all the ordeals, so also Sr. Ignatius Loyola had rightly faced
all the trials and tribulations courageously. She had to work very
hard to get the present site allotted by the housing board for
construction of class rooms and recognition from the Government of
Andhra Pradesh for upper primary school.
May God bless her abundantly with good heath to continue her mission
with zeal and enthusiasm.
