Our History

Sr. Ignatius Loyola was the foundress of the Institution in the year 1965.

The school started in an embryonic stage, with 220 students and & 6 teachers in the sheds for classes LKG-V. God has showered His abundant blessings and gave us the strength to face all the difficulties and raise the premises to a full fledged High School within a short time. The School was granted permanent recognition in the year 1974 for classes I to X with one section each.

It was eventually upgraded and the first batch of X std. was sent for public examination. With the untiring efforts of the management and faculty all the students got through successfully (1970-73) which enhanced the prestige of the school. The school had a strength of 3500 students, 83 Staff teaching and non-teaching by the year 2005. The institution also had the approval from the RID for opening of additional sections B, C, D & E for classes I to X.

All the staff members are formed into various committees which perform their duties meticulously for smooth and efficient functioning of the School. The staff also attend seminars organised by various organisations like Orient Longman, Oxford University in order to upgrade their professional Skills.

The Students are grouped under 4 houses namely Red Roses, Shamrocks, Blue Bells and Daffodils. They are also organised into various clubs and work under the guidance of the respective subject teachers. Various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are initiated. Students also participate in multifarious competitions held in our school premises by various organisations and win laurels to the school. They participate in inter-school competitions like Painting Dancing, Quizing and in Sports such as Cricket, Table tennis, Basketball, Valley Ball, Kho-Kho etc.
